ABOUT

This new musical comedy, written by Emmy® award-winning journalist Jacklyn Thrapp, puts a spotlight on the behind the scenes culture of local newsrooms.

“Journalists with experience in small or medium market can really relate to this story,” Thrapp said. “Good Morning New York is for anybody who feels stuck in life, love or a job.”

The Off-Broadway musical, about a failing news station, explores why we work jobs we hate and what it will take to quit.

Good Morning New York is opening at an Off-Broadway venue after rave reviews from CBS, The Daily News, FOX NEWS, PIX11 & more. Our launch comes on the heels of a nearly sold-out run at the People’s Improv Theater and New York Theater Festival in 2018.

Good Morning New York is inspired by real Journalists.
